Halloween was a four-day event this year with a number of extra special treats and a few tricks.  It started off with my five-year old grandson’s Halloween parade at school on Friday.  He was a killer Captain Hook thanks to the crafty magic of  his mom. I did not attend but got a preview on  Thursday… he was most excited.  Then as their parents were off to a party MM and I had the boys overnight Saturday.  It snowed and Sunday morning we tramped around throwing snowballs until our hands were frozen.  We warmed up with a movie, Fern Gully and popcorn.  They didn’t want to make my chocolate chip mummies but eating them was fine.

This first of the season snow was most unexpected and many communities lost power for a few days.  We were warm and snug and playing dinosaurs, building lego monsters, while eating chocolate ship mummies.
