Even with a bit of a cold these days I’m still enjoying the autumn adventures.  Right out my back door just beyond the bird feeder loaded with sunflower seeds at the edge of the property, under the hornbine tree where the briar roses have thrived all summer, now a flurry of birds feast.  The finches, the cardinals, the catbirds with bunches of berries these birds will stay and amuse me for a while.

Irish Proverb…”What will come from the briar but the berry.”
