New Year’s Eve Storm

It started snowing at 9am, the state called the truck out at 9:30am. M and I plowed through some heavy snow and strong winds. Here are a few of the photos I took during the height of the storm. We got a break at 2:30pm, stopped at home and got something to eat. I stayed home and shoveled the deck and stairs. I measured 10 and a half inches on the deck. The truck was kept busy til 11;30pm, a fourteen hour storm, just in time to come home and celebrate with a New Year’s kiss and hug then off to Bay Street to clean up and salt. The temperature now is about 4 with a wind chill of below 0. Came home to a warm house and bed at 2:00am. Good thing I’m retired!
